Local name: Bunya Pines (Stand of Trees), Belair
These trees are associated with Mr S Dixon who was on the original board of the Belair Recreation Park. They were planted around the turn of the century and show the early policy of introducing exotics to the park.
Nominated to the Trust's Register of Significant Trees for outstanding aesthetic significance.
Location and Access:
The Bunya Pine Trees are located within the Belair Recreation Park, Upper Sturt Road, Belair. They are located within the park at Long Gully near the Karka Pavilion. Access is available via the main park gates which are opened at 8.00am and close at sunset all year round expect Christmas Day. Entrance fees apply.
