Events involving National Trust South Australia propertiesor of interest to National Trust SA members.
Celebrating the 210 year anniversary of the encounter between Flinders and Baudin on 8th April 1802. Displays includes journals of Matthew Flinders and Nicolas Baudin covering the day of the famous encounter in 1802; models of the two ships; portraits of the two explorers; copies of their charts; plus many books on their explorations.

The Coromandel Valley and Districts National Trust regularly opens Winns Bakehouse and Gamble Cottage for viewing of intriguing artefacts and information assembled over the years.
Special themed displays of items not often assembled are planned for each month. This month's display will be at the Winns Bakehouse and the theme will be: What are they and what were they used for?
You will also find information and photographs explaining how things were used and their role in the development of the community in Coromandel Valley.

An introduction by Keith Conlon will start this day of reminiscing and renewing friendships. This will be a great occasion to have a cuppa and a chat about good times in the Valley. Look over old photos and memorabilia from the collection of the Coromandel Valley and District National Trust that is not often displayed.
An intriguing range of information will be available on the day and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the National Trust's records of the Coromandel Valley community and its connections.
Various informative presentations will be repeated across afternoon and evening time slots.

The photographs by Berndt Stokes are specially commissioned images of Coromandel Valley. ST Gill was a renounded painter in the 1800's and his works are displayed in Natioal art galleries.
