The Sheep’s Back Museum

The Sheep's Back Museum focuses on the wool industry - its sights, sounds and smells, and the people who worked in it - the owners, shearers, rouseabouts and pressers. See how lifestyles changed and techniques and tools influenced the development of this important industry. The new Limestone Landscapes Exhibition provides an overview of how the region’s landscapes were formed and the impact of this on the flora, fauna and people. It forms a significant background to both Naracoorte Caves and Sheep’s Back exhibits. A craft shop sells quality crafts with an emphasis on wool.
The Sheep’s Back shares its entrance with the Naracoorte Visitor Information Centre.
