Maitland Museum

Maitland museum is housed in a 19th Century, stone and brick, former school building. Maitland Museum has a collection of relics and memorabilia, and showcases local history, agricultural machinery, and Aboriginal and German heritage.
History
The school was built around 1878.
Maitland is the centre of an agricultural district, European settlement of which began in 1851 with Samuel Rogers at Ynoo Station.
